Despite being an intensive look into the Kabre community, it is actually very entertaining and in many ways, works itself out to be a critique of structural functionalist theories and western notions of modernity as the fall of Africa, as a whole. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. The hybridity with so called modernity found even in such a remote place in West Africa at once destabilizes the perceived hegemony of modernity by multiplying it.
